Catherine Goodhind – Young Women into Finance Program Director
Catherine currently manages the Young Women into Finance (YWIF) Scholarship Program, a 5-year scheme which aims to help young women from Year 12 develop the knowledge and skills, earn qualifications, and gain experience that will give them a strong head start when they enter the finance workplace. Catherine stepped into the role, not long after its inception in 2018 and has seen the UK candidate pool grow from 22 to 170 young females.
Before getting involved in YWIF, Catherine worked in the banking industry, starting as a credit analyst in a Japanese bank, moving on to Bayeriache Landesbank to enter the field of project finance. Since then, she has worked in the project finance teams of several banks including Société Générale, Hypo, Commonwealth Bank of Australia and lastly, Dexia prior to leaving the industry to pursue an MBA.
She also later become involved in her children’s school, serving as a Parent Governor for 6 years.
Catherine has a Bsc in Business Economics and an MBA.

Prof. Dr. Bhola Shrestha, born in Damauli in 1975, completed his MBBS in 2000 and MS in Orthopedic Surgery in 2007 at NAMS Nepal.

Prof. Dr. Bhola Shrestha, born in Damauli in 1975, completed his MBBS in 2000 and MS in Orthopedic Surgery in 2007 at NAMS Nepal. He further specialized with a Fellowship in Spine Surgery in India in 2010. He is married to Prof. Dr. Eliya Shrestha, the Medical Director of Himalaya Eye Hospital in Pokhara. Dr. Shrestha is a life member of the Nepal Medical Association, Nepal Orthopedic Association, and Association of Spine Surgeons of Nepal. He also serves as the President of the Gandaki Orthopaedic Association for 2024. Currently, he works as a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon and Chairman of Fishtail Hospital and holds the position of Professor and Head of the Orthopedic Department at Gandaki Medical College.

Shiba Hari Paudel is a distinguished entrepreneur and community leader with a rich educational background and extensive professional experience. He completed his SLC at Shree Mangala Secondary School in Sotipasal, Lamjung, followed by an IA from Prithvi Narayan Multiple Campus in Pokhara. He earned a BA from Ratna Rajya Multiple Campus in Kathmandu and an MA from Tribhuvan University in Kirtipur, Kathmandu. Paudel’s career spans various industries, serving as Managing Director of Vision International Cargo & Couriers and several other ventures in Nepal and Japan. He is deeply involved in community service, holding advisory roles in numerous Nepal-Japan associations and playing a vital role in promoting business and cultural ties between the two nations. Paudel’s leadership extends to managing a series of successful businesses, including restaurants and supermarkets in Tokyo, demonstrating his dynamic influence in both Nepalese and Japanese markets.

Born in Marpha in the Mustang District, I grew up in Damauli. I spent 11 wonderful years attending VDJBS in Damauli. Now, I reside in Sydney
