We are a non-profit organization primarily dedicated to advancing children’s education in the remote western mountain villages of Nepal, specifically in Tanahun, Lamjung, and Gorkha districts. Our foundation emerged from the recognition of an endemic problem in Nepal’s school level education system, where a significant proportion of children specially from the marginalized communities remains neglected. These children are forced to face multiple structural barriers mainly because of poverty, and lack of proper education make things even harder for them. RJF aims to support education of such needy children in their primary and secondary schools. This is where we aim to bridge the gap, by extending helping hands to marginalized communities often overlooked by the poor support system of the state. . Empowering Communities through Education, Health, Culture and Sports
RJ Shahi foundation believes that education is the most important factor in empowerment of people. It supports underprivileged and needy children by assisting them in their tuition fees and by providing them other necessities required to go to school.
In the long run, the foundation aims to have its own charity-based school. The objective is to demonstrate how level playing field can be provided for children from different backgrounds. We are engaged in discussions with locals regarding modalities of operations of such school.
Expanding its impact beyond Nepal, the foundation actively collaborates with the local community in Greenwich Council, London. For example, through its dedicated program, Saamanya Angrejee (SaaAng) which means Basic English, it offers crucial language training to immigrants from diverse backgrounds including Nepalese. The foundation has successfully provided English language assistance and basic communication support to five families back in Nepal.
Building upon this initial success, the foundation now sets its sights on broader horizons, aspiring to extend its invaluable services to even more communities, with a special focus on those from Southeast Asia. Through these efforts, the foundation aims not only to facilitate smoother integration of newcomers in the UK but also to foster a more inclusive and supportive environment for all.

The RJS Foundation is committed to nurturing cultural enrichment and encouraging healthy lifestyles through sports especially among youths.
In October 2021, the foundation launched its cultural initiative by organizing a vibrant event called “Dashain Bhela” to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Dashain. This event, attended by more than 500 enthusiastic locals, marked the beginning of a series of cultural gatherings hosted by the President of the foundation in Parashar Garden of Damauli in Tanahun District.
Complementing its cultural endeavors, the foundation also champions sports for youths in order to engage youths in constructive and meaningful activities and to distract them from antisocial and self-defeating activities. Under this banner, the Young Star Youth Club of Damauli under the sponsorship of the RJ Shahi Foundation organized a soccer tournament in Damauli in October 2022. The winning team was awarded 50 thousand Nepali Rupees and the best player of the tournament was awarded 10 thousand Nepali Rupees.
